So I showed him how I was running with it, and he looked at it and he knocked the ball right out of my hands. And he was like, ‘Hold it like this.’ And what he told me felt comfortable. I had a tighter grip on the football. That should secure that problem as long as I work on it.

Over the weekend, Chip Kelly taught Michael Vick how to properly hold a football. Seriously. (via sbnation)

I can’t wait for Eagles training camp, when Chip Kelly makes Vick carry a football with him at all times, The Program-style, while other Eagles constantly try to knock it out of his hands in the cafeteria, during film sessions, and even in the locker room. Luckily, Vick will be sleeping 12 hours a night, so it won’t be that tough.
